Poco teases global launch event for March 22, Poco F3 and X3 Pro incoming

Poco began teasing its X3 Pro last week and we’ve also seen rumors about the Poco F3 which is expected to be a rebranded Redmi K40. Now the brand’s global Twitter account teased a launch event scheduled for March 22 where we should see the global launch of both devices. The online event will start at 8PM GMT/12PM UTC time and will be broadcasted live on YouTube.

In related news, Poco India confirmed it’s holding another event on March 30. The date was confirmed via the official Poco India Twitter account with the Unleash #ProFormance tagline which implies we should see the debut of the Poco X3 Pro. The Poco F3 (aka Redmi K40) is expected to arrive at a later time in India under Xiaomi branding as the Mi 11X according to an earlier leak.

According to speculation, the Poco X3 Pro will debut with the unannounced Snapdragon 860 chipset. This SoC is expected as a middle ground between the SD 855 and SD 865 SoC’s of years past with all leaks pointing it to be a 4G-only platform.

In addition we’re expecting the Poco X3 Pro to boast 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB memory configurations, a 120 Hz display and a 5,200 mAh battery with fast charging. Pricing in India is rumored to start at INR 21,000 or just under $290.
