The nubia Red Magic 6 series debuted earlier this month in China, and today the brand announced a global launch date for the lineup – April 9. Both the Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro will be available to the global audiences, with each of them getting only one memory option and a single color option initially.
The Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro are identical for the most part – Snapdragon 888 chipset, 6.8” AMOLED screen and typical for the gaming niche looks and feel, including the physical shoulder buttons. The vanilla option will be sold around the world with 12GB RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Pro has 16 GB RAM and twice the internal storage.
The other key difference between the two phones is the back panel where the vanilla 6 has a glass cover, whereas the Pro comes with Aviation-grade aluminum.
The April 9 date is just for pre-orders, the actual open sale will begin a week later – April 15. The nubia Red Magic 6 will be available in Eclipse Black for $599/€599/£509, while the nubia Red Magic 6 Pro will be sold in Moon Silver for $699/€699/£599.
